Development Funding to Renovate a Rural 19th Century Brick Cottage

Funded: £487,000
Location: Oakham, Rutland County
Property Type: Residential
Funds For: Development
Timeframe: Client Deadlne

Our client, an experienced developer who we have worked with successfully worked with previously, approached us requesting funding to renovate a 19th Century Cottage in Oakham.

Originally constructed in 1870, the property is situated in the picturesque market town of Oakham, County Rutland.

Our client had obtained planning permission to extend the original brick cottage, adding a single floor extension to the properties courtyard and to convert the outhouse into a one bedroom annexe.

Lowry Capital provided £487,000 in funding to repay an existing charge on the site and to help support the final stages of development.

As with all of our funding solutions, no quantity surveyor was required, reducing costs and removing unnecessary administrative work, allowing the developer to focus on delivering the scheme quickly & efficiently.

(Development finance made easy, its what we do)

The development has now been successfully completed, and is another stunning addition to our clients growing portfolio.

The finished property is an amazing example of thoughtful renovation, the developer has beautifully restored the cottage while preserving its original charm and character.

Period features have been carefully retained and enhanced, while also blending modern design and functionality to create a home that reflects both traditional British architecture and contemporary living.

Lowry Capital is delighted to once again support experienced developers like this in delivering high-quality schemes and bringing exceptional homes to market.
